Lots of work. Lots of walking. Lots of teaching. Can life get much better? We had the chance to do exchanges this week. I got to spend the day with Sista Manly in Sharpi. It was fun for her to be back in her old area and see the people she previously taught. Exchanges are always a great chance to learn and grow so I am thankful for the chance I had to do so with Sista Manly.
Gwendaline was baptized on Saturday!! She was terrified, absolutely terrified. She and Anerose were supposed to meet us at the church for the baptism, but Anerose called us just before the baptism telling us that Gwendaline was shaking because she was so scared. We jumped on a taxi to go to her house. We said a prayer with her asking for peace and assurance that she was doing exactly what God wanted. Almost immediately Gwendaline calmed down and we all went down to the church together. She was baptized and it was a great experience.
We continue to work with Andre and Annie in helping them prepare for February 18th. Their family has been a huge blessing and support system for them. Jinette, Etna and Latrisha continue to help us as we work with their families. Those three read The Book of Mormon like crazy!! They read 10 chapters in 4 days!!
God just keeps sending miracles! Sista Betero and I are just amazed how much God is helping us and we know that it is because of all your prayers in our behalf. Thank you so much!! I love you all!
